In this photo looking from the Willisville cutoff south towards the LaCloche Foothills and then Manitoulin Island beyond it, one can imagine the promise of the day ahead. This area, with resplendent sun rises and sun sets bouncing off quartzite rock, is a wonder in all seasons.  This photograph was taken early on an October 2022 morning.

The LaCloche Foothills of Northern Ontario are renowned for their natural beauty and was a frequent destination for many of the Group of Seven. This photograph was taken early in the morning along Highway 6 north of Willisville in October 2022.
