Jayson Stewart cast as "Blind Man" in Douglas Ewen's feature film THE WOODS THAT MADE ME

The Woods That Made Me is an original film written/directed by Douglas A. Ewen, starring Gillian Fortin, inspired by the novel 'Drifting Upward' by M.D Lawrence.

​It explores the lost humanity of life as, Rae, who has been living in isolation, in the woods returns to her home town of Blackwood in search of the person she used to be. It's 'A Clockwork Orange' 1971 meets ''The Road' 2009.

Jayson Stewart has been cast as "The Blind Man", a seemingly frail and sightless man who actually yields some power in the broken world of Blackwood. 

At the time of writing, the film was being shot in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
